Rat mesothelial cell line F1-1

Transformed rat mesothelial cell line isolated from the peritoneal fluid of a female rat (Fischer F344) after 292 days of induction with crocidolite (blue asbestos) injected intraperitoneously in 2008.
Belongs to the sarcomatoid group (see publication 1), and later classified in "PNsarc1" subgroup according to low levels of Hif1a, Ccl7, and Vegfa levels (see publication 2 below for more details).
The complete proteomic analysis data of the biocollection of cell lines has been deposited on the PRIDE database website (http://www.ebi.ac.uk/pride), part of the ProteomeXchange Consortium, with the dataset identifier PXD060521.
