Rat anti-mouse cd11a/cd18 (mouse lfa-1 alpha/beta conformational determinants) (several clones)

Two rat monoclonal anti-mouse LFA-1 recognizing two spatially distinct conformational determinants, the expression of which requires the CD11a/CD18 subunits pairing.
Epitope B : H154-266 (IgG2a) ; Epitope E : H155-78 (IgG1)

Interest / Relevance: In contrast to the MAb specific of the CD11a, these two rat monoclonal antibody do not inhibit mouse T cell responses. Furthermore, the LFA-1-E monoclonal antibody (H155-78) potentiates the latter (T cell proliferation and Il-2 production). H155-78 is widely used as an early marker of mouse immune synapse formation during which the LFA-1 molecule is rapidly redistributed and upregulated.
