Mouse anti-Mouse & anti-Rat CD90.1 (Mouse Thy-1.1) (clone H171-146)

Monoclonal antibody raised in (A.TLxA.TH)F1 hybrid mouse (expressing the Thy-1b allele) immunized with T hybridoma cells [derived from BALB/c T cells (Thy-1b allele) fused with the BW5147 AKR thymoma (Thy-1a allele)].

Interest / Relevance: The Thy-1.1 monoclonal antibody binds to a Thy-1.1 determinant expressed in Thy-1a mouse (e.g. AKR thymocytes) or T hybridoma cells derived from BW5147 AKR thymoma cells)and in rat thymocytes. This monoclonal antibody activates both mouse and rat T cells to proliferate or produce IL-2.
