Hek 293 cells expressing human prolactin receptor and lhre-lucifease reporter gene

This stable clone of HEK 293 cells has stably incorporated the sequence encoding the long isoform of the human prolactin receptor and a prolactin-responsive reporter gene, the lactogenic hormone response element (LHRE, = repeat of Stat5 DNA binding sequence) fused to the firefly luciferase sequence

Interest / Relevance: This cell clone can be used to study any ligand (agonist or antagonist) of the human prolactin receptor, or any compound/ligand of other receptors that could interfere with prolactin receptor signaling. Application are in any field in which the prolactin receptor could have an effect. It is appropriate to study extracellular modifiers of prolactin recetor signaling.
